Friday 3rd Sep- Pattern Printing 10:30am-4:00pm at The Studio, Middle Aston, Bicester, OX25 5PP
Our Pattern Printing workshop will explore the different Tile & Repeating printing blocks we have, working on getting the perfect repeat print as well as exploring the use of multiple colours on the same design to add more detail to your print. After a welcome drink and introduction, you will get settled at your printing table, we will spend the morning testing out colours and designs finding the combinations you like the most. We will be on hand to teach you basic and more complicated techniques and help you build confidence with your printing. After practising you will move onto printing stationery items such as Cards, Tags and Wrapping Paper. After lunch you can choose a couple of fabric items to print in the designs you have developed, you’ll leave having had a wonderful day exploring the joys of block printing with a handful of block printed creations!
Materials included in workshop:
- Practice Fabric
- Stationery Items: Paper Bags, Tags, Cards
- Large Fabric item: Tea Towel/ Tote Bag/ Scarf/ Cushion Cover/ Table Runner
- Small Fabric item: Drawstring Bag/ Purse/ Pencil Case
Additional items available to purchase if wanted, our Studio Shop will also be open if you would like to purchase your own Blocks & Equipment to take home. After booking you will receive a confirmation emails, 2 weeks prior to the workshop you will receive more details of the day.
All materials are provided in the cost of the workshop along with Tea, Coffee and Cake. You are required to bring with you a packed lunch.
