During this workshop we will teach you everything you need to know to start and carry on your Block Printing journey! You’ll be taught all the different printing  techniques such as two colour printing, pattern repeats and leave with a stash of block printed materials and the confidence to carry on printing at home!

This workshop is most suitable for beginners or those wanting a refresher workshop.

Friday 12th August- Introduction to Block Printing Workshop 10am-1:00pm at

The Studio, Middle Aston, Oxfordshire OX25 5PP

This is the perfect workshop anyone new to Indian Block Printing or for those wanting a refresher workshop.

Tess & Holly your workshop host’s will be teaching you all the techniques, tips & tricks that are needed when Indian Block Printing, you’ll play with a huge range of different printing blocks, colours and practice printing onto a variety of materials! Once you are feeling confident with your printing, creating designs and patterns you will then print a Fabric & Stationery item. You’ll leave with a stash of Block Printed items and the confidence to carry on printing!

Materials Included:

  • Practice Fabric
  • Stationery Items (Cards, Gift Tags, Wrapping Paper)
  • Large Fabric Item (Scarf/ Cushion Cover/ Tea Towel/ Tote Bag/ Set of Napkins)
  •  Small Fabric Item (Zip Pouch/ Drawstring Bag)

Items can be swapped, and additional materials are available to purchase if needed.

Our Studio Shop will be open for any materials you may want to purchase to take home, we accept Cash/Card. Refreshments, Tea, Coffee and Cake are included in the price of the workshop along with all Materials.

After booking you will receive a confirmation email, and 2 weeks prior to the event we will send you the Workshop details.
