We have a new seating arrangement in place, if you are coming on your own you will be seated on a double table to yourself or if you plan to come with a friend or family member who is in your ‘bubble’ you will be able to share a double table. We ask if you plan to attend the workshop with someone else please make your booking together. *
Learn the art of Indian Block Printing and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of design and colour! Traditionally from India, block printing gives you to ability to easily hand print your own materials in your choice of designs and colours- explore different patterns and printing techniques to create your own printed materials. Our beautiful Oxfordshire studio holds everything you need for a creative day, you’ll have use of our full range of Indian Printing Blocks including exclusive workshop designs, and our full range of Textile colours. We will be on hand to teach and inspire you throughout your day Block Printing!
This workshop will be focused on Christmas printing, helping you get stocked up for this December. We will show you all the tips you need to know to get the best results when printing on Paper, including which paints work best and show you how you can emboss with printing blocks as well!
Materials included are:
- Gift Cards & Envelopes
- Gift Tags
- Brown recycled Wrapping Paper
- Tissue Paper
- Brown Paper Bags
- One fabric item such as Tea Towel, Tote Bag, Zip Pouch, Napkin, Christmas Stocking
Additional items can be purchased. All materials are included in the price of the workshop including Tea, Coffee & Cake. Please bring a packed lunch with you. Our studio shop will also be open during the workshop should you wish to purchase any block printing supplies to take home with you.
