Block Printing is a great way to upcycle an old shirt or piece of clothing, by using a textile paint you can print your own design onto the item which will be permanent & washable! In this workshop we will teach you how to Block Print and all the techniques and tips you need to know when printing an item such as a shirt. You will start the morning by picking out a tray full of designs that catch your eye from our range, after a demonstration you will start practising with these designs and a variety of colours onto plain cotton fabric, getting a feel for how each design prints and getting confident printing onto a variety of different fabrics. When you have decided on your designs and colours you will move onto printing your shirt!

You need to bring with you your shirt/ items of clothing to print onto. We suggest a plain cotton shirt, doesn’t need to be expensive- Primark, M&S, Sainsburys all do plain shirts which are great to print or look at the back of your wardrobe/ charity shop something you can upcycle.
