Saturday 6th Feb- Online Workshop: Intro to Indian Block Printing


Join us for our first Online Workshop: Introduction to Indian Block Printing , which will be filmed live from our Oxfordshire studio. After booking your spot we will send you all the details of how to access the workshop. On the day you can settle down and join your host Tess & Holly at 1pm on Saturday 6th Feb. During the workshop you will be able to see Tess on camera, ask questions throughout the session and your welcome to  join in and Block Print alongside Tess if you wish.

A copy of the workshop video will be sent to you via email to watch should again should you wish to re-watch part of the workshop, or if you were unable to join the live workshop you can watch it at your own convivence.

All the materials & equipment that will be used during the online workshop by Tess are listed in the description below, we recommend that if you don’t already have these items it is best to place an with us order online or source them yourself. Tess will talk you through all the equipment and why it is important in the Block Printing process! This workshop will give you the confidence you need to carry on Block Printing successfully!

Online Block Printing Workshop Saturday 6th Feb: Introduction to Indian Block Printing

Live Workshop Time: 1pm Saturday 6th Feb/ Duration: 1 hour/ Capacity: 10 Guests

Join Tess & Holly for a live online workshop, they will show you step by step the basic of Indian Block Printing ensuring you know the materials and equipment to use, table set-up, applying paint, practicing and confidently printing onto Paper & Fabric! This workshop is suitable for anyone new to Block Printing, or for those wanting a refresher/ back to basics tips to help you get the best results when using your Indian Printing Blocks.

You will be able to join the workshop live at 1pm on Saturday 6th Feb, meaning you can ask questions throughout the workshop and get help with any areas you might be struggling with. If you cannot make the live session, a copy of the workshop will be sent to you afterwards for you to watch at home when coinvent.

Equipment & Materials that we suggest having for the workshop:

  • Essential Printing Equipment- Foam Printing Mat, Paint Tray, Sponges or Sponge Dabbers
  • Paint: We will be using Fabric paint, this can be used on both Fabric & Paper
  • Indian Printing Blocks: Tess will be demonstrating with a mixture of small & large printing blocks
  • Scrap Fabric & Paper

Once you have booked your workshop space, we will send you a full list of the materials that we will be using allowing you time to order anything should you need to.
